About Canuck Place
Funds raised will go to Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, who have been helping ill children since 1995. They improve the lives of these children for the time they have with us, no matter how short that may be, and give those who love them the chance to forge memories they can cherish forever. They were North America’s first free-standing children’s hospice, and the care they deliver includes medical respite, pain and symptom management, art, music, and recreation therapy, end-of-life care, and grief, loss, and bereavement counselling. This is all offered at no cost to the families.
The last couple of years have been difficult for Canuck Place, but they’ve worked harder than ever and met the demands of the pandemic and restrictions. They increased in-home patient care and counselling sessions, almost doubled recreation therapy sessions, and continued to share their research and knowledge in pediatric palliative care both nationally and internationally. They persevered knowing how much these children and families rely on them, and with our help and support, they can continue to make an amazing impact on these lives.

About Centra Cares & the Event
Centra Cares has served communities and improved lives all over BC for more than 37 years, and our Annual Golf Tournament is one of the many ways we do this. Last year we aimed to raise over $100,000, but thanks to our sponsors’ incredible generosity, we managed $171,000! This money was divided between many great causes, with the Canadian Mental Health Association being a major recipient. This year, our golf tournament will be raising funds for Canuck Place Children’s Hospice. The hospice is a cause close to many hearts at Centra and an incredibly worthy recipient of our support. As an added bonus, every dollar raised will be matched by Centra Windows.

For 2022, sponsors can take advantage of increased exposure to our golfers as well as heightened awareness of your brands within our social media streams. Click Here to become a Sponsor.
